When it comes to food, we prefer healthier alternatives to a concession stand butter-slickened popcorn and sugary drinks. Instead of relying on boring nuts and fruit to be “healthy,” try one of these more exciting healthy movie night snacks:

If you’re in need of a good movie for your next night in, check out Pure Flix for family-friendly movie options everyone will love!

If you’re craving something sweet and chocolatey, these are a perfect alternative to Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups! Peanut butter and chocolate always make the best combo! 3. Fresh Guacamole

Authentic guacamole with tortilla chips is one of my favorite snacks. There are plenty of alternative options to regular store-bought chips, like making your own or swapping for a whole wheat option at the store. Here’s one of my favorite recipes for fresh authentic Mayan style Guacamole. Did you know avocados are a superfood loaded with beneficial nutrients and antioxidants? It even contains more potassium than bananas!

I love basked sweet potatoes. They're so much healthier than chips. But I did realize that they can be just as addictive.
