Remember, you can count more than just water as your “water”. Things like juice, herbal teas, milk…pretty much anything non-carbonated and non caffeinated counts 100%.
Drinks that are carbonated or caffeinated count about 50%…..so if you drank 16 oz of coffee, it would count as only one 8oz cup. This is because carbonation and caffeine work as diuretics, which depletes water from the body (but luckily not as much as the scientific community once thought)
