Ahhhh, the smell of fall and the holidays. It’s my favorite type of smell. That warm spiciness that makes you feel cozy inside. Orange spiced cider essential oil room spray is AH-mazing and couldn’t be easier to put together (PSSSST! perfect for some DIY gifts!)
Citrus Spiced Cider Essential Oil Room Spray
You may have noticed how essential oils are a HUGE thing right now. And, those that are more practical might be thinking “are they really better for this type of thing?” YES.
Artificial fragrances such as those found in store bought air fresheners are extremely toxic and can contribute to:
- Allergies
- Migraines
- Asthma
- Cancer
- Kidney Damage
- Contact Dermatitis
- Sinus Problems
- Neurological Damage to unborn children and other birth defects.

Alternately, making your own with Essential Oils can actually improve your health! Several of the oils found in this recipe are anti inflammatory and anti viral!
To make Citrus Cider Essential Oil Room Spray you will need:
- 1 – 2 oz glass spray bottle
- 20 drops Sweet Orange Essential Oil
- 12 drops Cinnamon Bark Essential Oil
- 10 drops Nutmeg Essential Oil
- 6 drops Clove Bud Essential Oil
- 3 drops Vanilla Essential Oil
- distilled water or witch hazel
The form you have selected does not exist.
Add all the drops into the glass bottle and fill with distilled water or witch hazel. Shake well before each use and store in a cool, dry, and dark space. Spritz 3-4 times around a room or on household fabrics to give it that nice homey fall/ winter smell.
**A word of caution, if you have children under the age of 2, don’t spray this room spray while they are in the same room or on fabrics they will touch. It needs to settle or dissipate first. Clove oil can be unsafe for children under the age of 2.
