Fresh Homemade Lemon Ginger Tea is one of my favorite comforts. There is just something wonderful about curling up with a cup of Lemon Ginger Tea and a book that takes all the tension away.
It’s no secret that drinking warm lemon water has numerous health benefits, but add some ginger and honey to it and those benefits really go through the roof.
Did you know ginger is in the same plant family as turmeric and cardamom? (I didn’t know that until I sat down to write this piece. Ya learn something new every day!)
With the growing number of people having issues digesting their food, ginger is an essential ingredient to have in your arsenal! It helps promote digestion and nutrient absorption and can relieve nausea. Ginger also boosts your immunity and is anti-fungal and anti-inflammatory
This Homemade Lemon Ginger Tea recipe makes 4 servings. As it’s herbal tea, it counts towards your water intake for the day (Woohoo!) Sometimes it’s hard to get in all 8+ glasses a day, especially in cold weather.
The form you have selected does not exist.
Where I live it’s cold 9 months out of the year (that’s how I got my blog name…formerly “Chronicles Of A Cold Texan”) There are some days I feel like I live off this tea come winter time.
I know it sounds silly but serve it in a pretty tea set and it tastes even better. Why does everything taste better when it looks nice? Like my tea set? Get the Tea Posy Daydream Pot Here
